At Chipped, our focus is first and foremost to repair windscreens. If it can be repaired, that's what we will do. Windscreen repairs are faster, cheaper, better for the environment and less hassle. We don't need to worry about having your windscreen in stock. We come to you and carry out the repair just about anywhere, and if you have glass cover on your insurance policy, the repair is usually free. Fixing a chip means it won't risk turning into a crack.
We also do replacement, because sometimes there is no other option. You can trust that we will give you honest advice and not try to push a service on you that you don't really need. If we can't fix your windscreen... it's because you need to have it replaced. Even then, we come to you! Take the hassle out of your auto glass needs.

We are a Waiuku based, fully mobile, windscreen repair and replacement company owned and operated by Hayden & Jade Balfour. We service the Waiuku and Pukekohe Regions including some of the surrounding areas. That's right, we come to you! Whether you are at home, at work or somewhere fun. Not only that, but you can expect great service, because it's our business to care!
We are both BCITO qualified in the New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Reglazing (Level3). After our move to Wellington in 2018, and hearing absurd stories about windscreens "needing" to be replaced when they could have been repaired, it seemed like a no brainer. Chipped was born, and it was a pleasure to have such great support from people all over the Wellington region. Due to some unexpected circumstances, we had to make the difficult decision to relocate nearer to family, so in September 2023 we made the decision to move to Waiuku, with the goal to keep Chipped going along with us.
