Windscreen Repairs

Chipped Limited offers a fully mobile professional windscreen chip and crack repair service. Chipped Limited travel to your vehicle to carry out the windscreen repair, saving you time and money. We assess the damage honestly and provide you with straightforward advice, ensuring you only receive the service you truly need. Typically, our repairs take just 20-30 minutes, allowing you to drive your vehicle immediately afterward. Repairing a chip is crucial for restoring the integrity of your windscreen, as it plays a vital role in maintaining the structural safety of your vehicle during a rollover accident.

Chipped Limited's fully mobile professional windscreen chip and crack repair service adheres to AS/NZS 2366.1 (Repair Procedures) and utilizes repair systems compliant with AS/NZS 2366.2 (Repair Systems). What does this mean?

Following the AS/NZS 2366.1 (Repair Procedures) standard controls how Chipped Limited inspect, clean, drill, and evaluate the damage to your windscreen so that clear structural boundaries on repairable limits are met. Following the AS/NZS 2366.2 (Repair Systems) standard controls the materials and tools (resins, bridges, UV curing lamps) Chipped Limited use, making sure that they meet the mandatory performance, strength, and haze testing required for windscreen repairs in New Zealand. This means our windscreen repairs meet New Zealand standards for Warrant of Fitness (WoF) testing and safety.

Your windscreen plays an important part in the structural integrity and safety of your vehicle, it's not just to block the wind. A windscreen provides structural support to your vehicles roof and helps prevent it from collapsing in and crushing the cabin in a rollover accident, as well as making sure your passenger airbag deploys correctly. So you want your windscreen to be at full strength and not have any weak points that could cause it to fail if the worst were to happen.

After completing the repair, Chipped Limited provide a windscreen repair certificate to show that your vehicle windscreen repairs meet New Zealand safety standards. This certificate serves as proof of the quality work performed on your windscreen, which may be required by your WoF inspector, and also giving you peace of mind on the road.
